What?
Over the coming months, UKCloud will be performing Service Improvement upgrades to the UKCloud Shared Services Infrastructure.

When?
NTP – Available now – Please refer to the Knowledge Centre article below for details.
The original NTP servers will be unavailable from Tuesday 30th November at 11AM
KMS – FQDN Cutover will be on Tuesday 30th November at 11AM
WSUS – FQDN Cutover will be on Tuesday 30th November at 11AM

Impact to customer?
None, providing the recommendations below are followed.

Actions Required:
Prior to the completion of the upgrades, customers will be required to add additional IP addresses and ports into their Edge Service Gateways to ensure they have access to the new infrastructure ready for the service cut-over. Details can be found in the links below for each service.

Following the completion of the DNS cut-over for WSUS (Tuesday 30th November at 11AM), you will need to append the SSL port to the WSUS FQDNs in use by pointing your client machines to
https://wsus.frn.ukcloud.com:8531 or https://wsus.cor.ukcloud.com:8531 as appropriate.
